LECo partner meeting was held 15:th of February in Luleå in Vineyard Event & Konferens conference center. The first reporting period of LECo ended 31:st of January, and activities and deliverables of the first period were considered in the meeting, as well as the reporting process. Coming activities in the second reporting period were also introduced by work package responsible partners.

In the first reporting period, several workshops / seminars were arranged (in Ireland, Sweden and Finland) with goal of awareness rising and introduction of the approach "Energy Community" to local inhabitants and stakeholders at local and regional level. In addition, a review of policies and legal framework affecting local public authorities and residents in their energy choices has been made, and a report of this policy analysis will later be available, as well as a handbook and factsheets on policy recommendations. Information, knowledge and experience about legislation, laws and instruments currently available were gathered e.g. with interviews in the LECo partner countries at national, county and municipal level.
